Just a little photo fun for Wednesday. The first is the full version of our website homepage photo, and the rest are detail shots from the board. Due to some staff vacations, Chef, who normally helps out on stations as needed, was dedicated on baking early last week, and on mixing and shaping bread this one. He says it’s been fun, since usually he is doing more in terms of helping from station to station than in terms of running one from start to finish in the day.
For the photo inclined, we actually set up in the back alley. It was slightly overcast, so the lighting worked well (I’m still feeling my way through natural lighting, working with concepts from Penny de los Santos and Matt Wright). You might have seen Monica and I also photographing bread- she’s still working out some formulas and shapes for the raisin competition. The bread has been up front a couple of times, and when she has a final formula and shape, we’ll post it up.
